We’re excited to welcome Benton Shutz as our fall intern at the Redmond, WA office! Benton is from Redmond and is currently enrolled in the University of Colorado, Denver in the College of Architecture. He excels at concept planning and program development and will be assisting our Project Managers with various tasks including CAD drawings and building calculations.

While in school, Benton completed several projects including a college dormitory specifically designed for students in the performing arts. The “concept for this building, creating a community through the performing arts, derived from my personal experience of meeting musicians during my freshman year of college, and the desire to have a place where I could easily practice, record, and perform music with them. This building is all about creating spaces for theater and music to bring people together.”

In his spare time, Benton enjoys spending his time exploring the music, art and nature of the Pacific Northwest. We’re thrilled to have him on the Magellan team!
