This month Dan is celebrating his 3rd anniversary with Magellan Architects! He came to our team with 14 years’ experience in Architecture.  He started his career working for our founder, Pedro, at Mulvanny Partnership as a drafts person and is now looking to start the process of gaining his Architectural license.  He has a long history of creating detail libraries and has worked on many different types of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial.  He likes to approach a project from a builder’s point of view, and really enjoys learning about new materials, construction methods and building systems. Dan has lived in the area most of his life and has grown up with family in the construction trades, most notably Glaziers Union 188 and IBEW Local 191. After spending his time at Mulvanny he went on to work for GMS Architecture, PB Elemental, and DDG Architects before coming back to work for Pedro here at Magellan Architects where he plans to stay.

In his spare time, Dan loves anything involving the outdoors of the PNW! He also enjoys hanging with his 2 daughters or taking in a Husky football game (which us Cougs don’t judge him for).

Dan is also more fluent in “IT” than the rest of us so he’s always the first one to offer his assistance with our computers!
