The next staff feature is John Kay! John joined the Redmond office in August of 2015 with over 6 years of Architectural experience and a Bachelors in Architecture from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). John’s natural talent for communication ensures that projects will run smoothly and relationships with clients and contractors are maintained. He has completed his Intern Development Program with NCARB and is on course with taking his Architectural Registration Exams to becoming a licensed architect.
While John has managed over 300 projects for Microsoft he’s also enjoyed working with Harley Davidson, the University of Washington and the Seattle Public Library!
In his spare time John likes to spend time with his family, DIY home remodeling and kayaking. Fun fact about John, he is a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and has escorted a group on a Mt. Rainier Igloo camping trip the past two years!
