We’re excited to welcome our first summer intern of 2018, Johan Cheah! He will be joining our Dallas office to gain first hand experience in the design process. Johan just finished his third year at the University of Austin (Hook em horns!) and is enrolled in the Architectural Engineering and Architecture dual degree program. He is currently involved in the Architectural Engineering Institute as an IM Sports Chair, the Society of Engineers and Architecture Students and he’s the Architectural Lead for the UT Austin EERI Seismic Design Competition. Plus he volunteers with AIA Homes Tour and he’s an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, with all these extra curricular activities we’re still wondering how he found the time for this internship!

When he’s not furthering his experience in Architecture he can be found watching and/or playing basketball, he’s even known to dunk! After his time with Magellan he’ll be heading back to UT Austin but this time, he’ll be studying abroad in Paris (we’re not jealous at all….).

Welcome to the team Johan! For a look at some of his work visit his website.
